Nature volunteering – get involved in:
- Nature monitoring: operating camera traps in the field and analyzing collected footage – this allows us to track wildlife activity in the park.
- Garden work: helping in historical and utility gardens – from maintaining flower beds to jointly caring for useful plants.
- Event and education support: assisting in organizing themed events at the palace and closely cooperating with our educators during their activities. Particularly important is helping at the palace entrance, where we engage and inform groups waiting to enter.
- Documentation: creating photographic materials and co-managing the “In the Wilanów Gardens” group.
The Wilanów Gardens are a unique ecosystem that we care for with future generations in mind. We invite people who want to actively contribute to preserving this heritage and to develop ecological, environmental, and social initiatives together with us. This year, we are opening new opportunities for collaboration.
Participation rules: We are looking for individuals aged 16+ who value contact with nature and want to gain experience working in a cultural institution. Your involvement will help us better understand and protect local biodiversity.
Family volunteering – get involved in:
- Shared gardening: together with gardeners, you will take care of garden beds and plants in the utility gardens, teaching children and youth the basics of ecology through practice.
- Nature observation: you will analyze footage from camera traps, getting a closer look at the wild inhabitants of the royal gardens.
- Learning by doing: you will participate in research projects tailored to younger participants’ abilities.
- Children’s Day: young volunteers will take on the role of museum guides and introduce visitors to Wilanów’s artworks and plant life.
- Participation and support during key events: events like Museum Night and the Royal Festival of Crafts will be even better thanks to you!
Family volunteering helps build stronger family bonds in a natural environment. Together, we teach children respect for nature and cultural heritage.
Participation rules: We invite children and youth along with their parents or guardians. According to the regulations, individuals under 16 may participate in volunteering only under direct adult supervision. It’s a perfect opportunity to strengthen family bonds surrounded by Wilanów’s nature.
We offer all our volunteers during the period of cooperation with the Museum:
- free entrance to the Palace and Park;
- orientation information about the Palace and Park;
- free participation in lectures, club meetings, openings, concerts, and theatrical performances organised in the Museum;
- a signed cooperation agreement, and after its completion – a certificate with references;
- contact with exhibition curators and specialists in many fields;
- 15% discount on publications offered by the Museum.
